Plans and prices

Certly has three plans, Starter at £149 a month, Professional at £249 a month and Unlimited at £399 a month, each also available with the year bought up front for 15% less. Every plan carries a 14-day free trial, covers one site, and differs mainly by how many suppliers it tracks.

When you need this

Read this when you are starting your free trial and deciding which plan to pay for, when your approved supplier list has grown past the cap on your current plan, or when finance asks whether the year can be bought up front.

The decision is simpler than it looks. What is included is the same on every plan: the supplier database, certificate upload and storage, expiry alerts at 90, 60 and 30 days, automated chase emails, no-login supplier upload links, the audit-ready dashboard and the PDF export for auditors are all in Starter. What changes as you move up is the supplier cap, the full chase history log per supplier on Professional, and sending chases from your own connected mailbox on Unlimited. Every plan covers one site.

Choosing a plan and moving between them

  1. Count the suppliers you actually track

Not the full purchasing list, the suppliers whose certificates you hold or chase. That number is what sets the plan: up to 50 is Starter, up to 200 is Professional, past 200 is Unlimited.

  2. Start the free trial without a card

Starting the trial needs no card. Each plan carries a 14-day free trial, so you can add suppliers, upload what you already hold and send a first chase before you choose what to pay for.

  3. Decide monthly or annually

The annual version of each plan is the same product with the year bought up front, for 15% less than paying monthly. Nothing else changes: same supplier cap, same single site.

  4. Choose the plan on your billing screen

Pick the plan you want and complete checkout. Payment runs through Stripe, which takes the card and works out VAT at checkout from your billing address and VAT number. Card numbers never reach Certly's servers.

  5. Move plan from the same screen

To go up when your supplier list outgrows its cap, or to switch between the monthly and annual version of a plan, choose the plan you want where you chose the first one. Your suppliers, certificates and chase history stay where they are.

If it did not work

If checkout will not complete, or the plan shown on your billing screen is not the one you chose, email support@usecertly.com with the plan name and the email address on the account and the team will pick it up.

If you are still setting the product up rather than paying for it, start with getting started with Certly, then add your suppliers and send your first chase. Nothing about your records changes when you change plan: everything is kept while your account is open, expired certificates, superseded versions and chase history included, because that trail is what an auditor asks for.

Questions

Do I need a card to start the free trial?

No. Starting the free trial needs no card, and every plan, monthly or annual, carries a 14-day free trial.

Is the price per user or per site?

Each plan covers one site, and the price is set by the supplier cap rather than by how many people in QA use it. Professional is sized for a plant with more than one person in QA.

What happens when my supplier list passes the plan's cap?

Move up a plan: Starter tracks 50 suppliers, Professional 200, and Unlimited has no cap on suppliers. Choose the plan you want on your billing screen.

Can one subscription cover two plants?

No. Every plan, including the annual versions, lists one site. For anything else about your account, email support@usecertly.com.

How much does buying the year up front save?

The annual plans are 15% less than paying monthly: Starter annual £1,519.80, Professional annual £2,539.80, Unlimited annual £4,069.80, each billed once a year.

Who handles payment and VAT?

Stripe takes card payments, works out VAT at checkout from your billing address and VAT number, and manages the subscription. Your subscription status is mirrored back into Certly so the app knows which plan your site is on.

How do I stop paying?

Deleting your account from Settings, Site details cancels any live subscription and removes your sites, suppliers, certificate documents, chase history, settings and sign-in details at once. The same screen downloads a JSON file of your data first, so take that export before you confirm. For anything else about your subscription, email support@usecertly.com.

Do I lose anything when I change plan?

No. Your suppliers, certificate documents and versions, chase history and alert settings are kept while the account is open, and a renewal never deletes the document it replaces.
